Guizhou Province

Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou province lies on the east of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and on the northern part of the Nanming River. It is believed that in ancient times,Guiyang was surrounded by dense bamboo groves and known as a producer of musical instruments called Zhu. This is why Guiyang is also known as Zhu.
